The Vince Dooley Scholarship
is a one-year, renewable scholarship in the amount of $3,000 to help defer
educational costs for a period of one year’s matriculation at the University of
Georgia.
Eligibility Criteria:
1.
Student must be a
legal resident of Baker, Clay, Duval, Nassau, or St. John’s counties, Florida.
2.
Student provides
a completed application packet to the Jacksonville Bulldog Alumni Scholarships,
Inc. by March 31, 2015
3.
Student must be
accepted for admission to the University of Georgia as a full-time, degree
seeking student.
4.
Student attends
the University of Georgia full-time as an entering freshman.
5.
Finalists for the
scholarship will be required to attend a selection interview conducted by the
Jacksonville Bulldog Alumni Scholarships Inc. Scholarship Committee.
Announcement
of the recipient shall be made by April 30th or earlier.
The
scholarship packet is complete when it includes:

Completed
application with student’s current GPA (including second grading period of
grade 12).
·
Transcripts for
grades 9, 10, 11, and 12 (including second grading period of grade 12).
